Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Entering grades 7-11* (graduating classes of 2028-2032).
Completed Algebra 1, either in school or via self study
Can commit to 90% of our classes and events for the full school year. The school year runs from October until mid-June. See the schedule.
Be available for the entirety of our meetings, Thursdays from 5-8pm, and quarterly weekend events.
*Over the past two years, we have expanded our grade levels to include grades 10 and 11. However, students generally enter our program in grades 7-9, and most of our available spots in the program will go to these younger grades.

The fall 2026 application process is not yet available. All information below has not been updated for the upcoming application cycle.
To begin the application process, please complete the Application Request Form (link no longer active) to receive detailed instructions for how to submit your application.
There are two parts to the application process:
For students: We will send a quiz for the applicant to complete.
The quiz is 12 problems related to algebra and logic.
It may take multiple hours or days to complete.
The applicant may not receive any help with this, and must not use the internet.
The applicant should fully write up their solutions, including their answers and all of the work that went into those answers.
For parents: We will send a parent application form for a parent/guardian to complete.
The form asks for your contact information and basic information about the applicant's background.
The form also includes a couple of short-answer questions to help us get to know you and your child.
The application deadline is Tuesday, March 17th. Decisions will be released by March 20th.
